ABOUT AIMEE

Hi, I’m Aimee, Professional Organizer + Owner of Inspired Living NW

I discovered my joy of organization at the age of five. You see, my family has a history of chronic disorganization and hoarding.

Early on, I was introduced to the idea that our physical environment impacts our daily activities and overall wellbeing. I now refer to this kind of lifestyle as “collecting life without living it.” My grandmother loved to collect things but was never really able to enjoy them due to their sheer volume. As I practiced organizing in my childhood home, I learned how liberating it felt to be organized.

Later in life, I followed careers in mental health and early childhood education. My time spent working with folks in transitionary housing gave me a glimpse into ways that those with abundance can help those who have less resources. This passion for organizing also supported my work in fundraising and event planning.

In 2016, I officially started my organizing business, Inspired Living NW, and am proud to say that I now help people from all walks of life get organized. This is the work I was born to do.

In my spare time, I love to travel. For me, experiencing a diversity of spaces and places assists me in recognizing that there are so many different ways to live an inspired life.

At home in Forest Grove, Oregon, I also love to cook with my husband, spend time outdoors with our dog, Moses, and go for long strolls through Costco.

Organizing Specialties

With a background in the mental health and early childhood education fields, I am especially drawn towards working with women and families, including those who struggle with Chronic Disorganization and ADD/ADHD. As a former early intervention teacher to children with special needs, I continue to enjoy working with children along the autism spectrum and those with other learning differences.

I also work often with business professionals and women-owned businesses, in both residential and office settings.

Whether you need help cleaning out the estate of a loved one, or organizing your child’s homework area to help them thrive in school, I am honored to be of service. You can learn more about my organizing philosophy on my Approach page. To book your free 30-minute Zoom consultation, click the button below. I look forward to working together!
